How can I be sure the lamp you fit is genuine?+
Every lamp we fit comes with the distributor invoice and the original sealed module box. We hand both to you on dispatch. Genuine OEM lamps for Epson, BenQ, Panasonic, Sony, NEC and Optoma are sourced from the brand's authorized Indian distributor; certified-equivalent bulbs (Philips, Osram, Ushio) are quoted only when OEM is unavailable, and only with your sign-off in writing on the invoice. What if the same fault returns next month?+
Every repair carries a 30-day return-visit warranty written on the invoice. If the same fault returns within 30 days, we re-investigate at no labour charge, including a fresh on-site visit. If the part we fitted is itself faulty, the replacement is also free. The warranty covers the original fault and parts we supplied; unrelated new faults (e.g. a different board failing two weeks later) are quoted separately.
Why are you cheaper than the authorized service centre?+
We're not cheaper because we cut corners. We're cheaper because we don't pay franchise royalties, brand-marketing levies, or large showroom overheads. We run one workshop on MG Road, Secunderabad, with a small bench team trained in-house. Lower fixed costs flow straight to the quote. Same OEM parts, same warranty, lower labour line.
Do you collect projector data or customer info during repair?+
Only what we need to fix the unit and contact you, your name, phone, area, projector make and model, and a description of the fault. Network projector configs (IP, schedules, AV-mute passwords) we ask before touching and reset only with your sign-off. We do not on-sell customer data, and the lead form is processed by our own internal Apps Script and email, not a third-party CRM.
Can I see the failed part before you replace it?+
Yes. For doorstep jobs the tech disassembles in front of you, points out the failed part (blown bulb filament, seized fan bearing, scorched ballast capacitor), and asks for sign-off before fitting the replacement. For workshop jobs we WhatsApp photos of the failed part and the new part beside it before reassembly. The failed part is returned to you on request unless it goes back to the distributor as a warranty-claim sample.
What happens if my projector gets damaged in transit to your workshop?+
Workshop pickups go in a foam-lined hardcase, sealed in front of you, with a signed acknowledgement noting any pre-existing cosmetic marks (cracked vent, missing screw, lamp-door scratch). If the unit is damaged in our care during pickup, transit or workshop handling, we cover the repair of that damage at no charge. The same case is used for delivery back, and you check the unit before signing the delivery slip.
Why ₹149 visit charge instead of free?+
A free-visit promise gets abused. Customers book a tech, then either don't open the door, change their mind on the spot, or ask for a "free second opinion" without intending to repair. ₹149 keeps the booking commitment honest and pays for the tech's fuel and 1 to 2 hour slot. The moment you proceed with the repair, the ₹149 is waived from the final invoice. If we cannot fix the unit, ₹149 is the only thing you pay (No Fix, No Fee).
